The Blogosphere is on fire with the Boozey Bush story!
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 04:52 PM by RadiDem
It's spreading like wildfire.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving POS.

I hope that video clip of Boozey Bush at a wedding, with a highball in his hand, drunk as a skunk, taken several years after he 'supposedly' quit drinking, gets some attention from the corporate media.

1. I think that they should also be discussing that
lower jaw thanggg he's got going on. It was noticeably worse today!

24. Antidepressants & Alcohol?
Is that what Bush is doing? That's a no-no. I take antidepressants, & I don't touch alcohol. No wonder Bush is flipping out.

3. His physical/mental state during debates should have gotten more scrutiny
He was in bad shape during the debates, but the media overlooked his obvious cracking under the pressure.

were just laughing about who his sponsor might be.He'd have that guy drinking for sure-his amends alone would either require an international press conference or a lifetime spent wandering around Iraq and Afghanistan Banana stands

9. I'm in the program too - Bush isn't
He 'quit' on his own. He doesn't have a sponsor, doesn't have a program. He's never dealt with his 'inner demons', that's why he's such a psycho.

13. in our home group
it's asked if anyone would like to be a temporary sponsor-could you imagine if George came in?There would be no hands...and ...those who do not recover are people who are constitutionally incapable of being honest...hmm that one sorta fits

16. You mean AA?
Doesn't AA have any kind of outreach programs? Like aren't people familiar with this disease just freaking out at this--to think that this guy in this terrible shape is RUNNING THE COUNTRY (or is supposed to be)?

Isn't "intervention" an option, or does that only happen on tv?

18. There is a whole industry doing the recruiting for AA. Intervention
requires folks who give a shit about a person. The sooner this fuckwad chokes to death on his own vomit the better. Which is a pretty nasty thing for someone with 20 years of sobriety to say, but I'll say it anyway.

21. don't misunderstand me: I could care less aobut him.
I'm just thinking of intervention as one possible way to get him OUT of office so he quits killing people.

23. I don't think there'd be much of a chance of doing an intervention
on a man who has Secret Service protection.

5. Serves * right for serving up such a LIE for so long.
Any other politician under the pressures of the office could report that they "poured myself a stiff drink...and then got back to work," and it would be taken as a sign of the guy's humanity. With *, it's a sign of weakness, and all because he and Rove fed the sheeple a BS line about him findin'Jeebus and foresaking demon rum.

What a fucking asshole.

The scratch has set the thing a blazing, but there is yet no sign of any fuel to light. Unless some is found soon, the match will be put out.

7. When was the last time Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Condi, and Myers
the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were all present at the President's press conference? Does someone think perhaps something is up? Bush looked very worried this morning. Did Bush get a heads up regarding the Valerie Plame matter today? I also think this talk about Bush's alcohol problem is strange, as it comes from his own family members. I guess I'm just suspicious but I think we're being prepared for something, perhaps Bush's resignation.

17. I've been wondering that all day. Is this how they'll phase him out so
Rove / Cheney can take over. He'll go to detox, Oh, poor George - no impeachment, just a quiet retirement.

25. oh oh...cancer (maybe)
i always suspected the gopigs to do this....say geeb (brother of floridu gov john ellis bush, or 'jeb' gettit?) has been diagnosed with some kinda cancer.....that would save the criminals'
bacon, temporararily.
the busheviks are riding a furiously bucking bronco; they can't get off and they can't hang on.....a bush cancer scare would let pigmedia wax eloquent on the fine man and his sad situation

11. Find the video from the August Blackout of 2003!!!
When the WLF* finally did address the nation that night, he was fried, tied and laid to the side. Stinking, stumbling DRUNK on TV! If that video ever surfaces again (and I betcha there's a copy somewhere in the Whore Net archives), there'll be no doubt about his drinking.

Remember New Orleans

26. Also the same reason that it took him over 5(!) hours to "get back from...
Camp David to DC" when the space shuttle blew up. It happened on a Saturday and that worthless juicer didn't think he would have to do anything. It took them that long to get him to some level of coherence before he could address the nation.
Because, OF COURSE, Camp David doesn't have broadcast facilities. Of course.

The whole story of his sobriety was just that, a story
to cover his alcoholism. And the sheeple love a good confession.

12. How much more shame can he possibly bring to America?
This one man has been the single most destructive force our country has ever had to face. I don't care what brings him down - booze, bombs, bullets, whatever - just GO, George. You're killing our country.

They've all got to go, though - none of this "President Cheney" crap!
