It's time to donate again to disaster relief and assistance.

Other than offering lodging at your own home or property, money does seem to be the best way to go.

And I'm aware that many generous DUer's have continued to donate to help our fellow Americans. This is just a reminder for those of us who are not on an automatic donation plan.

1. I'm on an automatic donation plan. It's called paying taxes.

But that particular charitable institution keeps diverting my donations to fund illegal wars and multi-national corporations.

Im somewhat dubious of the Red Cross since #1 they felt it was TOO dangerous to go into New Orleans? AND they dont earmark donations. Im taking off work to fly to Biloxi in October for a week, there is work and a place to stay and that is the best way to help.
