Bush's analogy of the Iraq war is full of flaws........ |

by calling people that want to pull out as people losing nerve is stupid. I for one said don't start the war. He takes questions from only set up questioners. He is a fool and can not think on his two left feet. Bush is a total moron leading this nation down a course of disaster!

Only the future costs measured against the likelihood of a national security benefit matter. Characterizing the decision making process in terms of emotional content is pure jingoism.
The fact that tens of thousands have been killed or wounded on our side and hundreds of billions have been squandered for no tangible benefits except for that of a few dozen defense contractors is indicative of what the future holds.
The huge commitment of national resources to the tail in the "tooth to tail, lite military" of Rumsfeldian fantasy has harmed our security immeasureably. The opportunity cost of the dedication of trillions to defense and security spending no longer even serves the a precarious and hollow American financial hegemony with no industrial base. The latter is being exhausted in a remote and futile conflict.
