Which Democrats voted for John Roberts?

I've been having minor surgery today and have missed this whole thing. Thanks for your guidance.

Am watching Court TV and Senator Leahy is on now, but there's a break and I'm just trying to play catch up on this.

5. I love what Obama said...
The Democratic support for Roberts marked a stinging defeat for the liberal groups that are lobbying energetically against confirmation. Without mentioning names, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., criticized them in remarks on the Senate floor, accusing them of "kneejerk, unbending and what I consider to be unfair attacks" on lawmakers who disagreed with them.

7. I was being sarcastic...
What kind of asshole Democratic leader attacks liberals who don't want Roberts on the SC?

Answer...the worst kind.

4. Any cogent quotes as to why those Dems voted that way?
I'm really surprised at Leahy. It sounds as if Bush played "bait and switch" by putting John Roberts name in for O'Connor, then "promoted" him for Chief Justice without consulting anyone.

I don't know much about the other two guys from Wisconsin, but I thought Feingold might vote "no"...from the little I've heard.

I know it doesn't matter, but just wondering.
