2. Surround them and hug them and tell them you love them

Tell them Jesus said to love your enemies, so you love them.

It drives them nuts.

(oh...make sure to disinfect afterwards)

4. You know, I just might a bit more respect for them
if they simply adverstised themselves and protested specifically as "Pro War" demostrators. That would actually be honest of them. But it's when they protest under the banner of "Support the troops!" that makes me super-annoyed. Who doesn't support troops?

Obviously, people who want to have the troops taken out of harm's way in a misbegotten war support the troops much more than people who want them to stay in Iraq, undermanned, led by disasterous military and political decision-making, and force to accept constantly changing reasons why they have sent there in the first place.

6. I think with that
it's a psychological trick. They're trying to make people afraid to speak out because they don't want people to go around saying they hate the troops. (See O'Reilly with Donahue).

9. That is how you know that they are acting on behalf of the rnc
Many of the military families that still back bush* &/or his Iraq policy are aware that most of us support the troops and that many of us have family in the military or are vets.

The push to insist that they are the "support the troops" people is simply a rnc talking point and frame of the issues. Period. This is not a spontaniouus act on behalf of bush*/Iraq war supporters. This is rnc generated.

The only reaction that these goons will get from me is that I will flash them the peace sign.

7. Their usual game is to claim the "liberal biased media"
will refuse to give equal time coverage of their counter-protests, and that there were "thousands" of pro-Bush protesters ignored by the cameras. Thousands who didn't show up, of course.

10. But who will collect all the porta-potties?
How could you honestly tell anyone with a straight face "I demonstrated in support of war!" and not expect them to correctly call you a repellent and disgusting troglodyte?

It would take a pretty incredible lack of insight into what war truly is to be able to pick up a sign and actually support it.

Sick, sick, SICK.
