In his "Talking Points Memo" bullshit segment he essentially said that people who use slander against him ie: pointing out the obvious fact the he is an asshole, are not welcome back.

I am sure Donohue is crushed.

I'm sorry that Phil Donahue isn't on periodically. I miss him a lot. Did his show in Valley Forge, PA in 1981. Subject was mothers without custody (situations where father had custody of the children due to various causes).

a lot of people wanted Phil to run for elective office. Watching this, it's easy to see why.

I wish that I could stand up to scum like O'Reilly without losing ground, spluttering or crying. Phil didn't give an inch.

Not being invited back to that show is a badge of honor, like being on Nixon's Enemies List.
