1. Houston traffic is horrible
Im from the SF Bay Area. I know bad traffic when I see it, and Houston is always a mess.

2. What Did They Do?
Great news! What did they do? Did the twins offer to come and help jump start some cars? Did they donate some gas? Come on--we know they must have taken a pro-active stance.

3. Think good thought -
My sister and her husband north of Houston and about 20 horses that they board are heading inland in this mess.

At least they had better be - haven't heard from her since I told them to get the Hell out yesterday. They were wating to see the direction of Rita - had full tanks and carriers and a place to go - but I screamed don't wait - GO.

4. Good thoughts
And good for screaming. I can't believe anyone would wait if they had a place to go, especially with boarded animals?? But I hope they went yesterday.

5. I have relatives evacuating too so this is good news
They did reverse the southbound lane so all traffic would be heading north. That would have helped.
