No Muslims on Karen Hughes staff?

"American Muslims have told Hughes of her challenges. During a meeting Sept. 1 with 30 Muslim leaders in Chicago, Hughes was urged to give American Muslims more influence over U.S. foreign policy, said Muqtedar Khan, a political scientist at the University of Delaware.

Khan, who helped organize the meeting, said Hughes has no Muslims on her senior staff. Her top assistant, Dina Powell, is of Egyptian Christian origin. "How can we market a policy that we are not a partner in making?" Khan said."

Karen Hughes is in charge of changing the Muslim world's view of the U.S. You would think she could find one Muslim to help her negotiate, help her deal with all the different Muslim communities. This is so typical of this administration. Put a man who despises the UN as ambassador to the UN, appoint industry lobbyists to run the industries they once lobbied, and appoint a soccer mom from Texas with no Muslims on her staff to get Muslims to like the US. It's like trying to interact with the black community and your entire staff is from northern Idaho. I highly resent my tax dollars being thrown away like this.

By the way, the Northern Idaho separatist's were straight out of Southern California in the 70's.
