"He decided his presence" would be a distraction to the effort, according to Wolfie on CNN.
Looks like the quesation from David Gregory from NBC ("Won;t you get in the way?") was more on target than even Bush was willing to admit.

He was just a cancer in the state that spread. He is from Connecticut, or at least his family is and he poisoned my dear home. Not everyone from Texas is evil like him, he left the state in financial ruin after he left, still haven't recovered since due to his cronie Perry, the "christian" righty whom i should not even give him that title.:rant:
