Instead of bashing Hillary |
|
which I know is quite tempting right now
flood her office with emails, faxes and phone calls and tell her you are part of the 67% of Americans who want us to begin planning a way out of Iraq now - that you will not support either her Senate race or her race for President as long as she continues to echo the words of GW Bush. Tell her she needs to stand up and admit she was WRONG when she voted for the IWR and to help lead us out of this mess. And ask her if she is willing to sacrifice Chelsea so that the Americans who have already died will not have died in vain.

It's certainly a better idea than angering all of your allies in the battle against Bush. What purpose does it serve to ... ah, never mind. Today hasn't been a very enlightened day on DU. :(

5. I think that we can manage both without much strain. |

The "bashing" (otherwise known as criticizing) serves a purpose. It may prevent her from becoming president. An ambition she is perfectly willing to sacrifice other peoples' lives for.

9. Its rhetorical question |
|
of course it would matter Chelsea's position - but my question is to her as Chelsea's mother - is she willing to sacrifice her daughter so that all the other mothers who lost their children won't have done so in vain....just trying to bring it home to Chelsea's mom.

saying just about that. No answers. She answers on other questions but not this. No explanation, no form letter, just no answers. And yes I am a constiuent and am on her donation list. I'm not the only one, I know several people who are having this same problem.

8. Continuation of our involvement in Iraq |
|
is destroying our country morally, fiscally, militarily. It will sap our ability to do what we need to do to preserve ourselves in the 21st Century. If there are no Democratic leaders who share this understanding with the majority of Americans who are coming ever so slowly to recognize this truth, the party will perish. And no American who dies in the service of her or his country EVER dies in vain.
