Corruption, incompetence, political cronyism, lies and malfeasance.

Without the heck of a job you did alone these lines the rest of the nation might not have caught on to the regime's lies and Bullshit.

You alone, Brownie, have done more in your job to help the democratic cause than our own party.

You alone have shown the media what this government truly is and may of strip the illusion of the emperor new clothes more than anyone.

So this is an appreciation to a horse trading, incompetent, college roommate hack that may have tip the country finally, in the vision of truth and hopefully justice.

2. She was an awful wake up call I agree but
Brownie really open up the floodgate to the public what this regime really is.
Katrina was an terrible lesson to be thrust upon the eyes of America.

3. (Hanging my head in shame)
I, too, owe a debt of gratitude to Brownie: If he hadn't screwed up, I wouldn't have come up with this caption for my contest entry "Joe V. (the name of the logo) you're doing a heck of a job!"

5. Right! He exposed the "manly men" - the "we'll keep you safe "guys
as all having cucumbers in their pants. Brownie does deserve extra cudos as being sooo supremely extra incompetent that it drew attention even in this crowd.

7. Patronage is a time-honored tradition
and it's not always terrible - it's ok to appoint "your team" into positions UNLESS the position they are appointed into calls for specific professional expertise that they lack. Certain areas have always been the "pig farm" - it doesn't matter if your second cousin is appointed Assistant to the Undersecretary for Drapes Approval.

The problem with this administration is that they see EVERY position as a Patronage/PR position.Their quandaries are Not: How Can We Effectively Manage Catastrophe? but rather: How Can We Seem to Effectively Manage Catastrophe?(And slip a Few bucks to our friends in the meantime?) Image is always valued over substance because to them, substance is the image of substance. Weird.
