From NOLA.COM. Katrina high water mark only about 3 feet higher than the new water level.

4. Anyonr know how many homes are in this area? Either this part of town
should be left as a park or raised about 15 feet. What a shame to keep getting flooded like this.

5. A park???
This part of the city should be rebuilt to withstand anything and public housing should be built for the former residents. And it should be paid for by every SOB that voted against improving the levees.
