If Cindy Sheehan is a 'clown' |
|
Then Bush must really, really, really be scared of clowns.

1. Just finished reading Time September 26, 2005 |
|
Article "Cheney Wins Again"
"As key senators in both parties push President Bush to name a "hurricane czar" to take charge of the Katrina aftermath, some Administration officials relish the notion of outsourcing their Category 5 headache. But the idea of a super powerful hurricane guy hit a major obstacle: Vice President Dick Cheney...a presidential adviser tells TIME that the new office would invite more meddling by Congress and create another power center."
They are not afraid of clowns--they are afraid of anyone getting power other than them. It's nice that they put their own issues ahead of the welfare of those impacted by the hurricane and the concerns of a woman who has made the ultimate sacrifice of losing her son in the Iraq War.

I just got finished watching her speech...
the woman needs more charisma. She sounded...so unsure of herself the whole time, kept pausing, kept breaking every few seconds...
Not to say I could do better, but...She's got nothing on Martin Luther King, or Hitler, for that matter.

3. I think she did a good job |
|
Keep in mind that she's been going non-stop for a long time now. I'm sure she's exhausted........add losing a child into the mix. She did great in my book.

5. I think she does a fine job |

You can tell she really does care about the issue and saving other families grief and pain like she had to endure. She's not a politician. Just a mother.

7. She is a sincere speaker and I loved seeing her in person |
|
I was not aware of the force of Cindy until I saw her here in Los Angeles.
She is one sharp cookie and when I heard her speak, she is "real" and "down to earth."
I would say she is, " A Little Piece Of Leather well put together."
Didn't hear her today but I bet she worked that crowd like magic.
She knows how to speak TRUTH to POWER. Bush speaks POWER and tells LIES.
There is a big difference.
