Darn it...they don't believe that 100,000+ showed up today....
WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1490730/posts

...I checked the Traffic Cams around the White House all day and if they reached 10,000...I'll eat my hat.

Was that Reuters photo later.... during the nusic concert?

If not....they digitized extra people.
*******************************************

...Saw a picture. 22,000 tops.
Hags, sags and fags.

Lower turnout than vietnam war rallies. The very same girls at this rally were better looking back then in the Nam days. Now they fried out old LSD hags.
********************************************

...You know, that really irks me! While I didn't get to watch the news tonight, I am sure that they MSM reported that there were 100K plus people! Outright lies! and stupid people, like my in-laws, will drink it in and be all the more convinced that we are EVIL!!!!

1. DC police chief Charles Ramsey was quoted all over the place
saying that the 100,000 target had been met.

Example:

6. Addendum:
I was at the Gay Rights march in 1987. Police called it at quarter million - it was at least half million by the lights of other experienced observers.

Same with the early 1990s March for Women's Lives.

Don't focus on the reported numbers. Focus on your experience today and the energy and commitment that you and your colleagues today take from that.

Thanks for standing up against this idiotic and supremely destructive war.

2. I just got home to York Pa from the rally. Absolutley unbelievably
packed with people. I grew up in DC in the 60's, there were always demonstrations for Nam and Civil Rights. I don't recall anything like this. We waiting in line for 45 minutes to even get into the march, it was so congested. The subway was more packed then after the 4th of July in 2004.

As for Bush supporters, even the quote 'several hundred' seems really stretched to me, especially at the FBI building, when we passed it around 4:15...more like MAYBE 100, MAYBE.

3. Traffic cams around the White House? Don't think so.
Okay, I could be wrong. But I hunted for WH traffic cams today and found none. I did see the ones posted here and there was one that showed marchers. For part of the day, it showed them walking toward the camera. It was a sea of people to the horizon. Severl D.C. cams were not showing images.

I say that this freep is a L-I-A-R unless they posted a url for those "cams". More bushit.

4. They see that crowd and call it 10,000, they see the faked shots of
the Saddam statue getting pulled down with 100 people or less around and call it hundreds of thousands.

They have a perspective problem.

Or maybe they go by the number of portapotties, that might be how they count people. They order 10 portapotties per person for their rallies, so when they don't see a million portapotties, there's NO WAY there can be 100,000 people. :)

5. despite their bs, in the quiet moments in their minds they know the truth
and are getting drunk to numb the pain of reality - there were 100's of 1000's there and they know it.

Cheers!

15. It was verbally announced on the broadcast. There's no link
The website claims only about 2000 people. Somebody at the studio doesn't speak to the others, apparently. :eyes:

10. Of course they don't. Duh! These are the ones who support
this idiotic occupation.

Then again, how many will THEY draw? 10? That seems to be the high-water mark for their "rallies."

16. It doesn't look like 600k but it looks like around 75k to 100k
I read somewhere that it was probably only 5k to 10k but I went to a high school with 5k and I can say with absolute certainty that is quite a few multiples of that.

The University of Michigan stadium has 100k and I'm using that as a reference.

17. One would think they could disagree with the numbers without insults.
"Hags, sags and fags." Who wants to bet these "compassionate conservatives" will be in church tomorrow morning, praying fervently so all may see?

Someone else is watching, too, freepers, and He ain't impressed with you and your judgmental scorn of that which frightens you.
