Sunday Papers .. Hope for Anti-War rally coverage (Rita old news)
But where? Which newspapers will cover the DC rally? Screw the Sabbath Gasbags .. they will be dissecting the heroic trip, by Bu$h, to the underground bunker in Colorado. Oh yes! Watch and learn!

Dear Leader. Drunk again. Never, ever, elect a self-touted, bible-beating, "reformed" alcoholic. The EtOh is just too ineluctable. Makes me wonder, too, just what strange other tastes this weird man has. Jeff Gannon, where are you?

1. The President
On the phone to key agencies, making conference calls, demanding fast meetings, barking sharp commands, assessing progress every five minutes, in charge and in control...

Oh, and then there's Chimpy...

4. That picture just cracks me up.
He looks like a hundred miles of bad road; I expect him to fall over sideways and just flop on the floor like a sack of wet cement. And I imagine his breath could knock birds out of the sky, peel the wallpaper off the walls and curdle gin.

5. He looks like he's aged about 100 years since 2000.
I guess that's what happens when you have the blood of countless thousands on your corrupt, evil, gnarled little hands.

9. You think he really cares about the lives lost?
No. I think that's just the alcohol pickling him or maybe it’s the sudden realization that HE hates America for our freedoms.

16. Yeah, probably not.
Likely it's the booze. I gave him a little to much credit. Sorry :-)

11. Bu$h is killing himself before our eyes.
How convenient. If it weren't for the "football", I'd be happy. But does he indeed have the football?

Sick, drunk MoFo here. Photoshop out the USAF sycophants and draw in a pan and you have a typical Bowery Bum (Wash 'yo window?). Drunk, stupid, dangerous man. Pass it on.

Mac

12. Maybe he could get work as one of those squeegee guys.
"Yo! Wash yer win'shield?" It would be the first useful work he's ever done.

6. He looks like a lizard in the pic.
Like his slimy little tongue is going to come flicking out to catch a fly for lunch.

7. Page 26 in the NYTimes
Which is about in the middle of the national news. There is also a separate story about the Amtrak problems in the Metro section.

8. Stephanopoulos is gonna be all Rita and Repugs
I'm not gonna be watching this.

from the email:

COMING UP SUNDAY, SEPT. 25, 2005

Guests:

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas
Max Mayfield, Director of the National Hurricane Center
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.

The aftermath of Hurricane Rita is the focus of "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" this Sunday. Twenty-four hours after slamming into the coasts of Texas and Louisiana, "This Week" covers all aspects of Hurricane Rita, featuring live reports from ABC News correspondents throughout the devastated hurricane zone.

We'll then hear from Vice Admiral Thad Allen on Rita's impact on the already-ravaged New Orleans, and from Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison as her state struggles to gauge the storm's destruction. I'll also speak with Max Mayfield, Director of the National Hurricane Center, on what's causing the highly active hurricane season.

And in an exclusive interview, Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., joins me to discuss the staggering amount of money needed to rebuild along the Gulf Coast, and the tough choices ahead for Congress, President Bush and our country.

"Our Voice" this week is evangelist Franklin Graham, who explores the difficult question of the role of God in the recent destruction caused by Katrina and Rita.

And in our roundtable, Donna Brazile, democratic strategist and a New Orleans native, former presidential advisor David Gergen, and ABC News' George Will join me for discussion on Hurricane Rita and the lessons government officials learned from the failures of Katrina.

See you Sunday,

George Stephanopoulos
ABC News' "This Week"

14. My Favorite Comment from The NYT

"Mr. Bush was in Colorado and Texas monitoring hurricane developments, and Mr. Cheney was undergoing surgery at George Washington University hospital."

17. I noticed him as well. George looks like Gaylord Focker
after they discovered he painted the cat's tail white and the whole family was shunning him away. When you look in Bush's eyes he looks like he feels rejected by everyone in the United States and he is doubting his ability's. He does look very tired like he had ZERO sleep last night worrying the Hurricane relief effort would suck again and wondering why everyone hates him.

The guy in the back is wondering why the hell Bush is even their and not doing a DAM thing!!!! He is thinking "This guy is no Bush he is a Boob!"
