and again. Why they had to make basically the same reports over and over. Rita did not give them the big media thrill ride they expected, but they still went through the motions. They could easily have put in a few brief reports from DC, without detracting from reporting even the most inane story about Rita.

He said something on the lines of, there was 100 thousand people there and I think I have heard from all of them today.
He went on to say, there is no conspiracy theory as to why the Hurricane got more coverage, it was a bigger story and bad timing.
He then mentioned the counter protest in D.C but gave no crowd number for that.
