Meet the Press -- ALMOST missed it -- but wow!
Definitely was NOT planning to bother watching another week of hurricane coverage on Meet the Press, but it happened to be on as I was getting up this morning.

Caught Tim Russert trying to pin Aaron Broussard to the wall, Russert trying to gain back some ground on Broussard's appearance three weeks earlier that was BLISTERING to the federal response. Well, I don't think Broussard saw it coming, but none the less totally ripped Russert to shreds. Thank god for Tivo, I've got it all...got to watch it once more!

Hope you all caught it.

1. I almost missed it too but heard his voice!
I ran in and Aaron Broussard gave Russert another piece of his mind. He didn't let Russert back him into a corner and he came out fighting with a left/right hook! Broussard rawks! :headbang: :yourock: :headbang: :yourock:

3. I saw the last part
and also have it on Tivo.

Man, Broussard ripped Timmy a new one. I am anxious to see the whole thing.

He made some excellent points. This was a colossal failure. That man's mother died. Nitpicking over who is responsible seems rather petty.

4. caught it also
what a hero this guy is, Tim was almost speechless but managed to keep his talking points. I want to see this guy debate anyone they can throw against him. What a great television moment.

5. I saw everything after the rebroadcast of Broussard's tearful plea
It was the first time Aaron Broussard had seen that footage of himself.

For the benefit of those who don't get to see MtP yet, I'll hold off on further comment except to say, "Whoa."

15. Hilarious how Broussard had tiny(brain) Tim stuttering
He could barely stay on track w/ his questioning. I was cheering Mr. Broussard on the sidelines. What a guy. He wasnt emotional today. He was mad as HELL!

18. Just ran on WNBC NY -- Broussard gave Fat Timmeh...
... and the bloggers and MSNBC "journalists" who parsed his words a good ol'fashioned Cajun ass-whuppin'.

I'd love to see Broussard replace that smarmy little shit David Vitter in the US Senate.
