Should there be another D.C. rally before the 2006 elections?
I haven't heard of any planned future rallies, although I'm sure that some of the organizations out there have something in the works. But I'm wondering if a rally close to the elections (and hopefully with maximum media coverage) wouldn't be a good idea to inspire citizens who are against the war to get out to the polls.

With a year's notice, I'm sure many more people could plan their schedules and finances to join in.

1. There should be a lot of rallies before 2006...
and even more before 2008. The more we can do to get our message out there the better.

2. I'm sure there will be
We need on in Oaktown next time. SF is too darned difficult to get around in. I hope someone organizes one, or I'll have to learn how to do it. I've never organized so much as a block party.

3. Hell, yes! And we need to draw attention to...
...the elections themselves.

Like a "million-voter march".

If the 2006 elections are stolen, or even just "glitched" yet AGAIN, well then you can look forward to MORE wars, MORE mess, and MORE of all that comes with ** and co.

4. Monthly
but not on the same weekend so the resident wouldn't know when to blow town. I wish there were at least ten thousand people outside the whitehouse everyday.

6. I think so, since I missed the last one
The morans in the MSM still don't get it. People who get their news from them either don't know that it happened, and those that do think that it was an anti-military protest. Why? Because the counter-protest today is listed as a pro-military, of course! Yeah, I think we need another, BIGGER rally, soon, laser-focused on the war in Iraq exclusively. So 100,000 - 500,000 isn't enough? How about 1 million? Two million? It can be done -- all it lacks is the will.
