7. I love my DVR.
It's changed my life! I could be a walking ad for it. Even if I forget, the DVR records it :)

It was silly enough for a Nobel Prize economics dude to also be trained in classical Greek and Latin. To make him president was a flight of fancy.

But the concept of a non-churchgoing, proabortion rights republican getting withing a million miles of the presidency...Sorkin's parole officer probably has him peeing in a cup as we write, it's so whacked. I can easier believe that extraterresrials could rewrite our DNA as we eat lunch than Alda's character as a successful republican.

6. Ah, a true fantasy world for liberals.
Where the inhabitents of the White House are competent caring Democrats, the first Hispanic to win the nomination of a major party is running for president--he's a hottie too--against a principled, secular, moderate Republican that even liberals could vote for.

I'll be watching of course.

11. Here's what I would have happen:
And I think it's a strong possibility as indicated by the writers' decision to move the election from this fall to some time in March.

I would have Santos-McGarry win. Then there are about 3-4 transition episodes... Then after Santos gives his inauguration speech, then for the last words of the series, Bartlet turns to Leo on the platform and whispers, "What's next?"

For god's sake, though, I hope they don't extend the show into a new administration. That "West Wing" would be a pretty sad show...
