Interesting how stories about Cheney's surgery don't name the doctors.

It appears they are trying to keep those with real knowledge of his medical conditions as anonymous as possible to keep a lid on information about just how sick he is from coming out. Obviously from the information that is available in the public domain (4 heart attacks, automatic implantable cardiac defibrillator) we know that he's quite sick at a minimum.

Contrast this to how the surgeons who operate on the Prez and such are usually not only named but have press conferences (of course these individuals are often happy to have the glory of having taken care of such an important person, not to mention the promotion it gives their practice).
