WTF? I just saw AmericaSupportsYou.com TV propaganda.
The TV advert said it was sponsored by the DOD. So I tried it and was redirected from dot com to dot mil. And the dot mil site, at the bottom says, "AmericaSupportsYou.mil is an official U.S. Department of Defense website."

http://AmericaSupportsYou.com

The site is obviously to counter the "Bring home the troops movement." Didn't the courts just reaffirm that the feds can't pay for blatant propaganda?

Just waiting for this WH to make Nixon's claim that it is equally as sovereign a ruler as Louis XIV. Only difference will be that this time the SCOTUS will uphold the claim. We the People are burnt toast.

1. At least they are honest about it.
While I agree it sucks, at least it isn't as sneaky as other attempts to drum up support for the war.

IMHO, the people who really care about the troops are the ones calling for their return. Everyone else is on the payroll of the BFEE or a chicken-hawk.

4. It's not such a blatant violation of rules
as the ones they got caught at in recent memory, but (IMO) it's definitely SNEAKY.

5. The TV ad was on the ABC affiliate in Dallas.
It was really a rah rah pro war kind of ad. A be patriotic and send a message to support our troups all flags and glory kind of thing.
