Cokie:Dems will not be able to capitalize on Delay's &Frist's ethics probs
(Cokie Roberts, the whore from New Orleans on NPR Mourning edition, referring to the 2006 elections): wink, wink, and we in the media will insure that by not playing the story.

1. Cokie started the trend, but the rest of NPR is
quickly catching up with her whoring.

2. Thanks CokieSpoon...
CokieSpoon and Juan Williams are the two reasons why I will not listen to NPR any longer. I loved it so. But I am not going to listen to Nastily Protecting Repukes when I can WATCH RW hacks lie and connive on TV if I want to. At least you can see their ugly, snarled mugs as they lie and spin away the morning, noon and nightime.

Saudi I mean Fox-Ignore-the-news. Why should I listen to them when I can hear the same talking points on Fox?

3. Of course we will. Every time a story comes out about how corrupt
the republican leadership is, it hurts. Maybe not hugely each time. But slowly it eats at the conscience of a few people.

Remember, that mandate was just an illusion.

5. And she knows this how? I know she has a broom, but I was not aware
she also had a crystal ball? Is she saying repuks can steal, lie, cheat and kill and never be called to task? Well, we will see cokie, we will see!

6. Yes, you got it! Cokie is "setting expectations" for her beloved gop
We still have 13 months until the election and I don't see what issues or progress the gop can use to get themselves into a more favorable light.

7. The way the Dems have to deal with ethics problems
is to start by cleaning our own house of crooked politicians. And we need to ridicule the heck out of the GOP when they say things like "the Dems do it too".

9. Let's make a rule. If a Republican whore makes a prediction, we give
them a rating based on their lack of objectivity. In Cokie's case, her credibility is 1 on a scale of 10. 1 = spinning for the party; and 10 = objective.

12. to think, Cokie's father was crusading to stop fascist Edgar J Hoover
I use "fascist" as shorthand. Hoover had his Stalinist attributes, too. Anyway, that is Democratic Senator Boggs I am referring to (a little history lesson here).

13. Mighty damn funny that I don't see the DEMS under investigation
the way I see the GOP under the gun. Why in God's name does she NOT think that we can't capitalize on this. They "promised" to "restore" ethics, honor and integrity to government did they not? Seriously does she really think anyone believes a single thing she has to say?

14. Cokie is not a a reporter. She channels Republican id.
Edited on Mon Sep-26-05 10:13 AM by 1932
She's a neoliberal sufi.

Whatever the Republicans wish were true, Cokie spouts it out.
