A personal word of thanks and an explanation

It was great to meet Skinner at the Hawk & Dove. I didn't stay very long because it took me a while to find it and I was really pooped by the time I got there. Demgirl, and Leftchick I met on the train up. Thanks for the great map, Leftchick it really helped a bunch. Your kids are really cool you and your husband should be very proud.

I was in DC by myself and decided to march with some women from Boston who were staying at the hostel with me. At the time I needed to make sure I was with people who would get me back to where I was staying.:dilemma: I'm sorry I didn't get to march under the DU banner. I didn't want anyone to think I was dissing DU by not marching with y'all.

The whole experience was pretty overwhelming but it was great to know there were so many of us there. I got some awesome pics that I'll post as soon as I get them developed (Margot Kidder, Joan Baez, Lynne Woolsely, Barbara Lee, Al Sharpton...I'm still reeling from Joan Baez walking right past me :wow: )
