12. Per CNN: go outside the "lanes" for protestors, three times... |
|
...and you're arrested. This is what she must have done. They were showing Code Pink protestors, during the announcement of Cindy's arrest.

i wonder, do we need to set up DU contacts in various geographic areas, in case the net becomes nationalized? China is doing it already, with the willing participation of the US and US corpserations.

|
the reporter said something like the group was told to stay in some sort of 'marching zone' path or something and they deviated from it so the arrests came. Fascist BS. Peace.

Since he can never be where she is, my guess is that he wants to leave (if he's there at all; it seems as if he never is) and he can't do it while she is there.

She's doing the right thing - we have a right to peacefully petition our government for a change. The government is asking for trouble by arresting people excercising their civil rights.

42. Civil disobedience is appropriate when it's necessary to |
|
break laws that are contrary to the common good. Rosa Parks did it, Ghandi did it, Martin Luther King did it and now we must do it if we are going to get our country back. Remember what the Nazis did to the Jews in the thirties. At first they made it unlawful for Jews to shop, eat in restaurants or stay in hotels. They made it unlawful for them to have jobs. In order to survive the Jews had to break the law. This of course got them arrested.
The camps and wholesale rounding up of Jews happened in the later years of the Reich. At first it started with unreasonable laws against them. This business of free speech zones and not being able to voice dissent are unreasonable laws like the segregation laws of the south back before the civil rights movement.
I say break the laws that keep us from letting Bush know that we are not happy campers and that we think his government is a rogue government that doesn't belong in the White House.
I say go Cindy go.
