And that you follow local fire safety regulations. You probably want to do it on private property, too; otherwise, they will get you for "reckless endangerment" from the fire hazard.

provided you dont endanger anyone by doing it on public property or in a way that may get innocent bystanders hurt.
May I suggest a hanging instead? Much less chance of unintended damage or injury.
