Guys, face it: this "all or nothing" attitude we hold about media figures will only lead to disappointment and disillusion. One week, when he's criticizing the Bush adminstration, Cafferty's on a "BOLD CRUSADE FOR THE TRUTH!", the next, when he's criticizing Michael Moore, he's a "FREEPER FASCIST ENABLER ASSHOLE!".


The truth, like always, is somewhere in the middle.

14. Yep, I consider them fairly neutral - especially Dobbs.

They will NOT stick with a side that supports either party - they decide on the issue. Not sure what Cafferty's beef with MM is but I know he's a righty. Dobbs is an admitted Republican too. It's surprising how neutral they are considering their politics.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I've followed Dobb's for several years now. He's been pretty hard on both sides in that time.

He speaks up for the exporting of American jobs when nobody else will - I respect him for that.

I already said he was a Republican, but he criticized Bushco before the election more than anybody else on TV. He knows Bushco are not conservatives and he says this all the time. When he criticizes Dem views I listen to him - he usually has a good reason for his criticism and I listen and sometimes I agree. Dems are not always right, and I've found that Lou Dobbs is about as fair as anyone - I really believe he takes the most pragmatic path for the most part (immigration aside). Nobody's perfect and I will listen to a partisan if their position is well thought out - his are IMHO. Have you ever seen him SLAM the Forbes types and Busho economic people before? It's a riot.
