Let me try this again...the protest was successful |
|
and Iraq War protestors as a whole have the initiative (Initiative: The advantage that a player who is making threats has over the player who must respond to them. The attacking player is said to "have the initiative".) along with people being pissed about gas prices...why not push a lot harder by yelling "BOYCOTT" again at every single website?
The holiday season is just around the corner...it could make a lot of people nervous:D

People are just feeling the usual feelings of frustration when a corrupt and hypocritical Republican-controlled Congress fails to immediately remove the pResident from office no matter what the administration does - unethical, immoral, illegal, disingenuous and/or incompetent - and no matter what we do to show these things and press the issues. Nothing new there.

4. It's already obvious that they won't be removed |

It's time to add economic power to people power. Just keep increasing the pressure and you'll see the corporate whores snap.

rush and medved are squeeling. calling Jesse Jackson unintelligent, calling us un ameriKan, terrorists loving, professional protesters. claiming only unemployed liberals have the time to protest. they're really vexed about us. im thinking we need to bridge together with Iraqis who also want peace. we really do have the ball now and must run with it. BOYCOTTS, civil disobedience, vigils, petitions. relentless forward movement. the whole country feels disillusioned about their own security. now is the time.

3. A good liberal friend just told me that she heard that the protests |
|
this weekend were a bust. That not very many people showed up, etc. I took the opportunity to bring her up to date. Her husband is very sick, in and out of the hospital so I know she didn't watch or see a lot of TV for the last few weeks. I told her that approx. 300,000 very vocal people showed up on Saturday for the war protest and 200 whiny ass numbnuts showed up Sunday for the pro war march. That the anti war crowd kick some serious ass.
I told her that all day today people have been standing outside the White House in civil disobedience, Cindy has been arrested along with many others, that people had been going into the Capital to meet with Congress people to lobby for change - so no, things are changing.
