I must be crazy
Because I just hate it. I hate it with a passion that dwells deep in my heart and soul and the very fiber of my being. I hate the destructiveness, the pointlessness and the chaos. I hate the pain, the suffering, the smell and the needless deaths. I hate war.

I hate that it is so often used as a tool for change - but as a tool, it is costly, inefficient and never ever works out the way intended. I hate that it is romanticized, heroized and patriotized. I hate that it is bad(?) to be anti-war. I hate that wanting the troops to come home, safe, alive and in one piece is labelled as giving comfort to the enemy - or at worst - treasonous.

I hate the hypocrisy that dwells within every war. I hate the corruption that evolves from war. I hate war cheerleaders. I hate the winning vs losing strategy that reduces war to a mere gameplay.

I hate that some Americans villify anti-war people as being anti-American - that inspires them to reflect that war=America and all that defines America is war.

And above all - I hate that we still have to rehash these same old tired arguments every decade or so.

So, I must be crazy......because I love people so much - I hate war. And that makes me.....anti-American.

2. Are you listening to FReeper brainwashing sessions?
If so, stop it. Please. It'll profit you not a damn thing.

You're more American than Nero in the WH will ever be. Never forget.

3. I hate the phony reason for WAR.....
wars are never about what they start out to be. I hate the killing and the death, and the fact that real people will miss real sons and real daughters, not just people on tv.

4. and ain't it sad to know
how unevolved our beloved country is? the concept of war is not born of logic, but spawns terrorism in its wake.

5. Let Go of hate. Don't get mad, get active.
Hate and rage cloud the intellect. Calmness and determination are much more effective at attack the sources that might cause hatred.

6. They feel a strong desire to keep killing Arabs to avenge 9/11
It is a mindless and fruitless exercise, but the blood lust of the public is easily satisfied this way.
