CNN: Oil expert said real convservation would be more devastating |
|
to the oil companies than the hurricanes. Nice to know we get to bleed for them too. Dead solders. Dead civilians. But the oil profits continue to be extreme. I guess $5-10 a gallon is the price we get to pay for our civilization.

And "devastating" to whom? Just the oil company CEOs?
So this "expert" thinks conservation is a "bad" idea, eh?

4. Actually, the point was higher gas $$ would drive us to find other energy. |
|
Conservation efforts are being promulgated by the oil companies, not out of alturistic ideals, but to prevent the price of oil from pushing consumers to alternative energy sources.
I say fuck gas conservation. I want gas prices to go past $5 gallon. This way we WILL BE FORCED to do what we should have done decades ago...move to non-hydrocarbon and renewable energy sources.
