29. Nope -- Jim Brogan is no longer there. I saw Brogan doing

stand up one night at the Laugh Factory on Sunset. A woman sitting at the front table had the nerve to answer a cel phone and start chatting in the middle of Brogan's act. After she finished her call, Brogan tore her to shreds. It was amazing to watch. The woman finally left in a huff and the crowd gave Brogan a standing ovation.

26. Leno was thoroughly dissed at the Emmy Awards --

Jon Stewart won awards; Dave Letterman was selected to honor Johnny Carson. I don't think Leno was mentioned once. Maybe those other writers should get a clue and join your friend. It seems clear that late night comedians who suck up to Bush are being left behind.
