If you behave like a ROMANOV long enough...
...then the people you're treating like SERFS will eventually invent something similar to BOLSHEVIKS, who will depose you, line you up against a wall, shoot you and ALL of your family, then throw your bodies down a hole.

Mind you, what rises out of such social upheaval is not necessarily the most desirable result: recall the archetypes such as the Reign of Terror in France and the Communist disaster of the 20's and 30's. But we don't seem to learn, do we?

1. communist distaster of the 1920s...

...happened because Lenin took over the movement and started setting up huge, centralized bureacracy. But that's another story.

Nice analogy!

2. Well, Stalin wasn't much help.
I guess I just want to know why the so-called Inteligensia/Aristocracy of this country can't figure this out? If they want HAPPY serfs that aren't planning revolt, then this sure isn't the way to go about it.

3. Does that make Karl Rove *'s personal "Rasputin"...?

5. More like their POTEMKIN.
Rasputin was a perverted anarchist. Not that he had any particular philosophy, mind you.

Rove is busy propping up the NeoRomanov Dream that is Bushism. I'd say that makes him Potemkin.

4. interesting analogy. I prefer comparison to Soviet's
especially since many Neo-Cons are former Trotskists and Soviet 'experts'.

One party system
Corrupt cronyism leading to national disaster
complete control of media
