Bush's SEVENTH Gulf Coast Photo-OP - ---pix->>>
Edited on Tue Sep-27-05 02:43 PM by Stephanie

And this is costing us HOW much?

President Bush walks with Lousiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco, front left on his way to making a statement in front of a damaged hanger at Northrop Grumman in Lake Charles, La., Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005. Bush was getting a personal look at Hurricane Rita's damage to U.S. energy resources while visiting Lake Charles, La., and Beaumont, Texas. (AP Photo/Susan Walsh)

"Obviously, this area is hurt," the president said at the airport here after a briefing from local officials on response efforts. "I saw it firsthand how it's hurt."

Bush, a former oil company executive, said the top priorities were getting food and water to the local population; then electricity and generators; then provide gasoline to replace supplies disrupted by the powerful storm.

"We fully understand that it's hard to maintain order if you don't have fuel for your cars and first responders," he said, warning that evacuees should not "come back too early" to their homes.

"Obviously, we want people to come home as quickly as possible. We want them to be able to do so in an orderly way. And when they get home, they find that there's, you know, as best as possible, power and water," said Bush.

3. What happened to the blue shirt?
I thought he was supposed to wear his working shirt? Or is he not supposed to be working? Now I'm confused.

10. I think they read DU

When we talked bad about the blue shirt, they rushed to get him a grey one.

Note To Karen and Karl:

It doesn't matter, he is still a clown and you are in his circus.

It doesn't matter what color the shirt is,he is a DRUNK.

Now get back to Saks and order him some new purple shirts - that's a great color. Wear the shirts with circles on the ties. Give it a circus theme.

Don't forget the Mardi Gras beads, maybe then the people of NO will think you like them.

And, don't forget to get it sweat proof. That was a big problem when he left Disney At Night Land about a week ago.

7. Yes, & he did say this today:
"If it makes sense for the citizen out there to curtail nonessential travel, it darn sure makes sense for federal employees,” Bush said. “We can encourage employees to car pool or use mass transit, and we can shift peak electricity use to off-peak hours. There’s ways for the federal government to lead when it comes to conservation."

ic, isn't it?

6. GAWD, his photo ops are so obvious anymore. So classic...rolled up
sleeves so he doesn't look like a spoiled elitist like he is, no tie, so he looks 'average' because he was born with a silver spoon up his nose...just so overtly stages to appeal to anyone that hasn't studied PHY 101.

11. Have you noticed that * does not appear at places like the superdome
and poor neighborhoods around New Orleans, but rather has his staged photo-ops at places like Northrup Grumman and oil refineries? That just about says it all right there. That's his true elite base: Defense contractors and energy companies.

He doesn't give a crap about the people. Just his base and the ones that are going to give $$ to his party.

17. just Photoshop him into a convenient background!
It would save money, fuel, and the time of all the officials and first responders who have to look after him.
