International A.N.S.W.E.R: Have any of you told them of your feelings
It's real easy to come in to DU and voice your feelings, but I'm wondering if you all are letting A.N.S.W.E.R. know how upset you are. Seems to me it would only be logical to send them an e-mail or something telling them how you feel.

6. Same here
I just keep reading all the complaints, but they're complaining to the wrong people. I wasn't there so i have no complaints. Except I'm kinda tired of reading about A.N.S.W.E.R. here at DU. If they can't tell the proper people their complaints, it doesn't do a whole heck of a lot of good.

2. That would be nice
Because I'm sick of hearing it. Perhaps they can start telling someone who can do something about it or even someone who cares. I really didn't expect that this would be the reaction after the overall wonderful experience I had on Saturday.

9. Positive or negative comments need to be heard by the group
they are directed at a lot more than we need to debate them.

5. What to say?
I can empathize with their causes. They are committed to their beliefs. I don't necssarilly disagree with most of their causes. I just don't think they were the best people to control the rally and dilute the message and purpose of the event.

But that's just my opinion.

10. excellent point-- perhaps I should send them some money....
They deserve some support for all they've done to help organize the antiwar movement. Thanks for reminding me that I should send them a donation!

11. Yup, go ahead and send them money
I'm sure Jon Stewart didn't really make fun of the protest because of them. And neither did all the local stations show their speakers as the complete wackos they looked like. With friends like these, who needs enemies.

12. I'm sending them $5 bucks and a thank you note for getting
off their asses and making something happen.

I didn't really know ANSWER were the ones that got this going, who then invited United for Peace and Justice to join in the effort, and then allowed Cindy Sheehan to join with them to make for a great demonstration.

The whiners haven't figured out that there is no such thing as bad publicity, so I thank them too for bringing to my attention who was responsible for pulling this off so I would know who to send a little dough to.

The biggest legitimate complaint I've heard is that some poeople didn't like all the speakers. They liked some and didn't like others. If that's all, what the big deal?

By the way, I'm in favor of constructive critisisms of the demonstration, but this prima-donna-esque whining reminds me of the people who are always threatening to leave DU because they got their feelings hurt somewhere sometime. Just to let people know how it comes off to me.

This wasn't their first March, it's just the first time most Duer's caught on to what they are. They heard the complaints before. That's why they just have to be dumped.
