Since they appear to have won with Roberts, W's base wants him to go further right on the next justice.

And of course she is a twofer - female and black. So they get to play the race and gender cards both.

Who would be next if they get to appoint one more justice - Senator Palpatine?

I can already hear the charges already of Democrats are bigots, racists, and sexists.

Don't know if it will be Brown, but odds are it will be a woman. Isn't Brown the one with the 'daughter of a sharecropper' story? If Laura can influence him to nominate a woman, maybe she'll also sweet talk him into naming a pro-choice candidate.

Then again, odds of that are about as good as me winning the powerball lottery. (Just to clarify, I don't play the lottery.)

A stealth candidate. She might be a back-up if Brown is defeated.

However, if he nominates her, then he has another high profile confirmation battle on her replacement. I think he will let her sit where she is.
