Rudi Juliani, Lou Gerstner, Jack Welch, Colin Powell. He said something like we need a "CEO to run relief and then he stopped and rolled his eys and said ..."or woman...uhh saved from that one." It was McCain making a joke about how he wasn't "politically correct" but laughing about how he saved himself by saying "or a woman" at the last minute.

It was the John McCain at his worst that we don't often see but have read about. Pushing his "usual suspects" to continue the cronyism. Yeah folks in the Gulf Devastation will just love having Jack Welch swaggering around. Maybe Paul Bremmer should have been included. After all didn't he preside over the Re-construction of Iraq just after we invaded for quite a while? Maybe bring in the kids from the Heritage Foundation who bagged over $100,000 in salary teaching the Iraqi's how to set up a Stock Market. Maybe Michael Ledeen's daughter and the rest can now find lucrative jobs in LA based on their "recovery" experience.
:eyes:

This was on CNN with interviewer Joe Johns who was going around the Senate trying to find out if anyone knew how FEMA money is being spent.
