Chimp's response to Delay indictment
From CNN:

White House press secretary Scott McClellan said the president still considers DeLay a friend and effective leader in Congress.

"Congressman DeLay is a good ally, a leader who we have worked closely with to get things done for the American people," McClellan said. "I think the president's view is that we need to let the legal process work."

Yeah, right, Chimp..... all your criminal buddies are "effective leaders".

:sarcasm:

4. Bush doesn't even have to wait for a conviction
Ford pardoned Nixon before he could even be indicted. Bush the Eviller let his pals Weinberger, Abrams and the others off the hook just before their trial could start at the beginning of 1993. No legal impediment exists for Bush the Stupider to pardon DeLay right now.

5. A Bush pardon would be a monumental mistake
And that will be very evident when the DC grand jury hands down their findings and large proportion of the West Wing upper level staff is also under indictment.
