Cavuto: Can't be both "a good American" & "a good journalist.
On the September 27 edition of Fox News' Hannity & Colmes, Fox News host and vice president for business news Neil Cavuto told co-hosts Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes, "I would much sooner go down as a pretty good American when I try to be versus a good journalist. The good journalist thing is not nearly as important."

Maybe Neil should write a book sequel entitled All The President's Whores...:wtf:

1. Can someone just make Cavuto go away. Good lord, he's stupid.
I suppose he didn't bother to go to Civics and American History class.

2. Gee, dumbass, used to be a time, not too long ago,
When you could be both. But that is before the corportations took complete control of the media, and journalistic integrity wasn't a dead ideal.

Just another corporate whore, making excuses and covering his ass.

3. A good journalist
Cavuto wouldn't know what that is anyway. He seems proud of being a Fox news Bush cheerleader.

6. He obviously would have made a good nazi...cause he would not go
against hitler...since it would be against the 'nationalism' of the time...not a person I want to read (listen to) for sure!

8. "I would much sooner go down as a pretty good American"
Sorry Neil but your neither a good American or a journalist. In fact you suck at both! Your a paid shill for the GOP. If you were a journalist or a good American you would have lost your job a FOX long ago.

11. Well. For a REAL journalist journalism has to come first.
Meaning: The truth. If you think - if you EVER think - "My country right or wrong" - then you cannot be, can never become a journalist. So let him - I don't even know who he is - be what he considers to be a "good American".

History, by the way, is against him on both accounts. Men/women like him will not be considered to be "good Americans".

Here's to you, my good American DUers:

13. That doesn't even make sense.
How is it being a good American to just follow what the government says and does blindly?
