Is MSNBC trying to make Tweety a real newsman ?
I've noticed several times in the last few months when big news stories hit, they trot out Matthews like he's a Brokaw or Rather.

If he's their idea of a real journalist, they are a lot sorrier than I thought.

2. Not a Star IMO
but he is their "big name" for political stuff. His hatred of the Clintons tunned me off on him.

6. He will never be more than a loud mouth for the right wing.
He can't report news without through comment into the story.

8. He's The "Face"
Every network has one...usually the lead anchor. Since there's really no News on MSGOP and Tweety's Jack Welch and Bob Wright's "star"...he gets the juice...the anchor chair for all the big events.

Now ratings at the network would suggest Keith Olbermann get those honors now as his numbers constantly beat Tweety.

But then I'm never let down with the Tweetster opening his piehole and saying something stupid. His only rivial is Larry King.

10. It's not just that he says stupid things
He says them loudly. And he repeats them often. He does rival Larry King for irrelevance and inanity but he compares to o'reilly for sheer obnoxity(?)
