I'm surprised...Tweety backed down after hearing Earl went after more dems
He just tried to play the "partisan" card with a dem and a repub. The repub was sputtering and spitting out all the talking points, trying to get Tweety going. And he almost did. But then the dem was able to point out that Earl has prosecuted far more dems than repubs. So Tweety shifted gears and started beating up on the republican guy. "How can you be so sure he's innocent? You looked in his eyes and saw his soul?" "Will you resign if you're wrong, I mean, you're so sure he's innoncent, how do you know?" The guy just got hammered.

I think Tweety knows he's dead meat. He's trying to set himself up on the winning side.

12. Son of a bitch sold his soul a long time ago. I hope when the Republicans
fall off their pedestal, they'll take Matthews and Russert with them.

2. Does anyone watch Matthews anymore?
What are the guy's ratings? The little twerp postures and then backs down from facts like a vampire from a cross. Does anyone find his show informative or even entertaining at this point?

3. I'm not surprised at all
He's a big sissy who only cares about himself, apparently. Now that the Earle record of toughness is being made public, tweety knows he's beat and suddenly changes his tune. Looks like just another case of lazy journalism, Tweety not doing his homework and just repeating what he is being told by republican operatives.

7. I agree it's lazy journalism. Tweety should have known that earlier.

6. It just cracks me up! So, many of these talk-show guests
know EXACTLY what's being said on the blogs.

Tweedy is lazy. He always starts with the 'talking pts'.

He's blowing in the wind all the time. I wish they'd just can him already!

9. Yep, replace him with David Gregory
Call the new show "David Gregory - On Washington" or something like that... has a ring to it.

11. The only Hardball on that show are the facts hurled at Tweety
on the rare occasions when he has a solid Democrat on and Tweety usually strikes out.
