Cue up the VCR's - "GET UP STAND UP" The Story of Pop and Protest on PBS
Edited on Wed Sep-28-05 06:40 PM by mzmolly
tonight at 9PM Eastern, 8PM central.

http://www.pbs.org/wnet/getupstandup/

"The Live 8 concerts to fight poverty in Africa are just the most recent demonstration of how musicians have lent their voice and considerable influence to an issue that transcends the realm of popular music. GET UP, STAND UP, a new two-hour documentary, chronicles the vital role that popular music has played in the ongoing struggles for peace and equality."

2. Cue.
To prepare or give the signal to begin. Not "queue" (a line of people waiting to get something) or "que".

5. Oh fer gosh sakes
Thanks.

I was going to use slang and abbreviate by typing the letter "Q" but I settled for "cue" and used a Q instead of a C.

But, I'll be the first to admit I lack in grammar/spelling skills. Thank goodness for spell check!
