he should stay there until he gets convicted. An inditement is just charges being pressed, he's innocent until proven guilty. Drag it out as long as possible in the public eye, show the Republicans colors.

5. I Don't Think He Should Resign |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-28-05 07:12 PM by iamjoy
you know how these things go. If he resigns he would say it was some nonsense about wanting to spend more time with his family.
But, the thing is, if he resigns, the issue of campaign financing goes away, or at least fades from the spotlight. If he resigns and is later convicted, it is nothing more than a footnote, a blurb on the crawl. As long as he is in office, there is hope the media will keep attention on what he allegedly did wrong and why it was wrong. If he is acquitted, we can still make a case that more needs to be done to clarify campaign finance regulations. If he is convicted, he'll be out of office anyway. Maybe a Democrat will actually be competitive next year.
Think beyond the immediate issue, this is not about one Tom DeLay.

Actually, they have no mind at all. They just follow orders from on high and shuffle around like zombies.

Frist on the ropes,Rove under investigation,Delay indicted and the prosecutor is once again trying to get Limball's medical records.
I hope and pray the Rove indictment (hopefully coming soon) will lead right to Cheney and Chimpy and the whole corrupt, incestuous bunch will do the perp walk together.
