ON YAHOO: Indictment of DeLay seen as blow for Bush DU IT!!!
WASHINGTON - House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was indicted by a Texas grand jury Wednesday on a charge of conspiring to violate political fundraising laws, forcing him to temporarily step aside from his GOP post. He is the highest-ranking member of Congress to face criminal prosecution.

Nonetheless, DeLay's temporary departure and the prospect of a criminal trial for one of the Republicans' most visible leaders reverberated throughout the GOP-run Congress, which was already struggling with ethics questions surrounding its Senate leader.

However, the grand jury's foreman, William Gibson, told The Associated Press that Earle didn't pressure members to indict DeLay. "Ronnie Earle didn't indict him. The grand jury indicted him," Gibson said in an interview at his home.

DeLay's lawyer immediately sought to protect the leader from further embarassment, even as they pressed to learn the evidence against their client. "I'm going to keep from having Tom DeLay taken down in handcuffs, photographed and fingerprinted. That's uncalled for," defense attorney Dick DeGuerin said.

6. The GRAND JURY INDICTED him NOT EARLE. So there.
"However, the grand jury's foreman, William Gibson, told The Associated Press that Earle didn't pressure members to indict DeLay. "Ronnie Earle didn't indict him. The grand jury indicted him," Gibson said in an interview at his home."

7. Oh, I just love this.
"I'm going to keep from having Tom DeLay taken down in handcuffs, photographed and fingerprinted. That's uncalled for," defense attorney Dick DeGuerin said.

No, Mr. DeGuerin. Stealing money from your constituents to finance your legal battles is uncalled for. Selling your vote to the highest bidder is uncalled for. Accepting bribes from lobbyists is uncalled for. Smoking a Cuban in front of the Ethics Committee and smirking your ass off the whole time is uncalled for.

Delay doing the perp walk? That's karma comin' back to bite him in his ass.

10. Oh NO
Frog Marching Delay is most of the FUN.. everyone else has to do it, why not him?

Hell, they even handcuffed Ken Lay..

I want the Bugman to feel that same helplessness and scary feeling that anyone in the world feels, that someone could punch you in the gut or toss you to the ground where you'd land on your face..

They can tell him to "watch his head" as they stick him in the squad car, that's fine with me..

and RUN THOSE PRINTS just in case he's murdered someone and gotten away with it before :)
