Ronnie Earle: 12 and 3
I have a feeling this remarkable statistic won't be shared by the media very willingly, we should be ready to force them to repeat it as many times as necessary to counter the obvious Delay defense of partisanship.

“Over Earle’s 27-year tenure, his Public Integrity Unit has prosecuted 15 elected officials, including 12 Democrats.”

1. He also successfully prosecuted most of them
I couldn't believe George Stephanopoulis was questioning Earle's competence on ABC news tonight, even though most of the cases Earle has prosecuted have resulted in findings of guilt.

4. The Republican spin on this:
Larry King had a pug congresswoman on her show. The spin is: Yes he prosecuted democrats, but they're "conservative democrats"!

Yay! They're desperate!

That's even better than I had thought. Earle doesn't like corruption, be it from Dems or Repugs.

10. So who here has emailed this to the MSM?

"Over Earle’s 27-year tenure, his Public Integrity Unit has prosecuted 15 elected officials, including 12 Democrats.”

11. Those numbers are obviously just a clever political ploy
to disguise his fanatical partisanship.

12. He's been planning this attack on DeLay his entire career
This was his means of throwing them off his trail. Drat! Foiled again.
