FreeRepublic.com troll report on Brother Tom DeLay's indictment:
The following was compiled by ScarletPHD... whose work can usually be found on NewsHounds. ScarletPHD is truly one of the great ones whom the NH trolls avoid like the plague as she makes them look... well stupid... when she retorts to one of their idiotic posts.

ENJOY!

Free Republic report:

Can anyone else see the talking points looming here?

Lets review shall we?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Excuse/> Partisanship:

I wonder if those on the left who always scream "innocent until proven guilty" will do so this time.

For my part, given Ronnie Earle's track record, I will say the indictment is "partisan until proven accurate".

Also, there are way too many cries of "witchhunt" for me to note.

***

<Excuse/> The "look over there, a blimp!" approach:

Hokkay, then, when do we get to indict Governor Blanco for gross negligence, send John Kerry to prison for treason (and strip him of his Senate seat), and about two dozen other Democrats, who shall remain nameless at this time, on RICO charges?

Speaking of Blanco, she must have driven everyone nutty with her small, pecking, cowardly voice such that we got to see all of about 1 minute of her testimony today televised.

***

<Excuse/> Those loony liberals approach:

Don't know much about Texas politics, but I've read that Austin is an island of "progressives" in a sea of sanity. Assuming that this is true, and assuming that DA's are elected in Texas,it shouldn't come as a surprise that a hack like this can hold office, any more than it should be a shock that a Maoist can be elected Mayor of San Francisco.

***

<Excuse/> The Media Made Him Do It approach:

And, now, thanks to the MSM, it'll be all over the airwaves. Unlike Sandy Bergers thievery.

***

<Excuse/> The "Huh?" approach:

Unfortunately, Fox has been slipping away from us.

***

<Excuse/> Poor Us approach:

Here Here, it is time for real conservatives to step up and say what needs to be said, Democrats will use every dirty trick in the book to bring down a good conservative and Earl has a track record of partisan witch hunts, I am sick and tired of watch us roll up into a ball and suck our thumbs when Democrats and the media engage in their dirty tricks.

***

<Excuse/> The It Doesn't Matter if He Did it b/c He is Honorable for stepping Down approach:

We don't tolerate fraud, corruption, and abuse just to keep our guy in office.

Democrat's will tolerate anything (ala Clinton Impeachment, Lying, etc).

Expect the best out of people and they just might suprise you! I want leadership I can be proud of.

***

<Excuse/> I'm just throwing this one is b/c it's funny:

Yup -- a homosexual no-border-control liberal "Republican" running the show for the next few years.

Watch the RATs do a Carpe Diem move and close in on border control AND gun control -- you'll hear Saint Hillary and the rest of the Reborn "Conservatives" preaching a "triangulated" gospel the likes of which will put the mealy-mouths of the GOP to shame.

And in the process they will abscond with a LARGE chunk of "the base".

3. I'm speechless.
They don't have a clue or they are in denial. Democrats are willing to speak up about Democrats who have done wrong. The Republicans are like lemmings. They will follow their leaders off a cliff (and they are.)

"Over Earle’s 27-year tenure, his Public Integrity Unit has prosecuted 15 elected officials, including 12 Democrats.”

7. Partisan witch hunts? What are they smoking and where can I get some?
If they're so concerned about partisan witch hunts, then they should take that fat piece of shit whose words they so highly regard on AM radio off the air!

Partisan witch hunts my ass.
