"Culture of Corruption" is a pretty big umbrella
perfect phrasing - covers:
election fraud, fixing intelligence, outing CIA agents, cronyism, no-bid contracts, Enron, Halliburton, Frist, DeLay, Rove, media-for-hire, gay prostitutes, missing billions, Abramhoff, box on back in debates, cover-up/talking points . . . and on and on.

I really think that the public as a whole is starting to associate Republicans with corruption.

1. it's about time! This has gone way past partisan politics, it's about
liars, cheats and robbing the American public blind! It is about time. I've always known that what goes around, comes around, but was beginning to wonder if I'd live long enough to see this evil bunch come down... I do believe I will! YES!

3. Howard Dean wrote the forward to...
...Lakoff's 'Don't think of an elephant'. Maybe he's properly framed the issue (and it's a huge one) and if Dems are smart they'll be saying 'culture of corruption' every time they open their mouths in reference to the bu$h (mis)administration.

THAT is how you frame an issue and control the message.

4. How about this?
Outsource whole sectors of government and who buys them? The private companies you, daddy and daddy's buddies own. Carlyle, Shaw, Halliburton, etc.
Who makes policy? You do--coming and going. You control the fact that your interests will make money.

This is the MBA presidency.

5. Culture of Corruption Club
Must be very tempting - become one of the insiders - you scratch my back , I'll scratch yours. Steer business and contracts my way, don't worry about the costs, become a lobbyist later for the same industry, have all your family members employed, get a lifetime membership in the "I Got Mine" Club. Everybody does it.

When a member of an underprivileged minority does it - we call it looting.
