Edited on Wed Sep-28-05 10:23 PM by zidzi
hardest I've laughed in eons.
He showed Fema's "Disaster chart" off their website where it all leads in a circular chart back to DISASTER!
The clips from brownie's senate hearing were priceless..Chris Shays said he had a feeling brown wouldn't have bought "The Louisianna Purchase" if he had been in Thomas Jefferson's position and Jon just went off with Props for Shays!
Jon said after brownie said he oversaw "150 Federal Disasters"..and now it's "151"!
And "youra culpa" was great after saying brownie was so proficent at showing how incompetant everyone else was..like a "youra culpa".

4. It's usually "mea culpa" which |
|
means "my bad" or my fault.
In brownie's case ..it's always "youra culpa" or your fault! :)

culpa -Negligence or fault, as distinguishable from dolus (deceit, fraud), which implies intent, culpa being imputable to defect of intellect, dolus to defect of heart
mea culpa -An acknowledgment of a personal error or fault.

7. It's a common error (pun intended). |
|
The proper spelling is "mea culpa" and it's Latin for "my guilt" (or "my fault").
I guess folks have been spelling it "mia" ever since 'Rosmary's Baby'.
