Check out the movie Berkeley in the Sixties.
I saw some familiar faces, particularly Susan Griffin, Berkeley poet and writer, in spite of the fact that I arrived in Berkeley well after the "revolution." People's Park had once again been claimed by the people by the time I arrived. You will see and hear some of the original protesters analyzing all the various movements from the distance of time. You will also see a young Joan Baez singing her first war protest. Shorter hair but she's still there (at Crawford and DC) singing her war protest.
Feel free to boo Governor Reagan in his appearances.

and the Fascist invasion that destroyed it. To this day, it still angers me.
