Hey mods would you get someone to make this shirt and would you sell it?
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 12:09 AM by Melodybe
I personally want to get a black girly tee with a white typewriter font that says, "I hated Bush before it was cool."

Then in small letters underneath, "Who am I kidding? It's always been cool." You can have them in various styles and sizes.

Please? I'll buy a few and I'm sure that plenty of DUers would also buy it.

So everyone else that wouldn't mind having a shirt like that please speak up now, so that the mods will listen to my plea.

It says "Raging Liberal" in red lettering on a black t-shirt.

9. yep, I could do it!
I love that idea. Can everyone who is interested please send me an email (mayafrommer@gmail.com), and I can figure out sizes/colors/styles. I have the flexibility to print on many kinds of shirts and in basically any color.

10. Gladly, I have tons of t-shirt ideas
Last year I made up a batch of "Liberal Patriot" t-shirts. I still get complements.

I'll do some thinking on some other slogans and I'll be happy to give them to you.

14. You can make a t-shirt yourself... if you want to.
For the election in 2004 I wanted a few Kerry t-shirts to wear around my republican town and also while I was working at Kerry headquarters. So I started to investigate how to go about. Its very easy.

You need:

A plain color t-shirt (available for around $4 at a local craft store)

An iron

A color computer printer

Word (or any other program that you can design text)

And t-shirt transfers for a computer printer (available at any place like Office Max or Staples. You want Color t-shirt transfers)

Simply follow the directions on the transfers. If you can iron you can make your own t-shirts.

p.s. I would recommend buying a few t-shirts to save yourself a trip back to the store. It took me two times to figure out how to center the words on the t-shirt.

19. I want that one!
I've been looking for just the right anti-Bush shirt. I have a W with the line through it, and I have an "Axis of Evil" shirt (with Bush, Cheney, Rummy and Ashcroft), now I want this one.

21. "Liberal Patriot", I like that too
Too many of the anti-Bush t-shirts I see are too "busy"; I don't like it with photos or too much text that's hard to read if someone is just walking by me on the street; I want short and to the point. Both of your ideas are great! Keep sending them.

That just reminded me of one of my first and favorite political t-shirts; I was about 20, Reagan was president, and I had a shirt that said "Dose Ronnie" with a picture of Reagan's face melting. I visited a boyfriend I had who lived in DC that summer, and made sure I wore it when he took a picture of me outside the White House. He was a Republican and was somewhere between horrified and amused. LOL. Great memory.

eta: whoops! missed your suggestion for the additional smaller message. Maybe you could get iron on letters from a craft store and add that line?
