I'm serious. Jon Stewart showed this webpage on The Daily Show tonight. Frickin' hilarious!!!

http://www.fema.gov/about/what.shtm

They start at disaster, go through the following path: response, recovery, mitigation, risk, reduction, prevention, preparedness, and ends up back at disaster!

12. She's gorgeous...
reminds me of my 3 angel daughters at that age. Just whispered a prayer for her big brother. I've had relatives and friends---one now at Baghdad airport as a medical assitant, in theatre over there.

Peace.

It's good to keep up your sense of humor in tough times. Makes you not go quite as crazy.

22. It is all making some sense now.
Response = Delay
Recovery = Impairment
Mitigation = Unnecessary Red tape
Risk Reduction = Increase mayhem
Prevention = Facilitate disorder
Preparedness = Incompetence

And back to Disaster. Simply had their terms all mixed up. Silly double speak republicans.
