With all due respect, you are out of your mind. Many of those who voted to confirm Roberts are good Democrats and voted for him not because they have no spine, but because they felt that he would not tip the court any further right. In fact, he probably won't tip it right at all considering where Rehnquist was. On civil liberties issues, Rehnquist was more extreme than Scalia. Scalia voted in the majority of Texas v. Johnson you know.
